1/28/25: Members of the PBFD train on cold water rescue scenarios at the South Road Boat Launch on the Poquonnock River. There are many areas in the PBFD response district that pose a risk to animals and civilians with regard to falling through the ice and into cold water. These scenarios require an immediate and professional response.
