Inspection AND Permit Fees

PBFD ORDINANCE: PERMIT FEES If you are building or renovating in the Poquonnock Bridge Fire District, be sure to contact the Fire Marshal to see if the work requires review and approval of the Fire Marshal's Office. Some work requires permits, fees and inspections.
On September 8th, 2016, at the September monthly district board meeting, the Poquonnock Bridge Fire District adopted ordinance ord-2016-02; Fees for Fire Marshal's Office Permits and Inspections. Authority: Connecticut State Fire Safety code; Section 105.1 General. "A municipality or fire district, by ordinance, may establish requirements and a fee schedule for construction document review, permits, certificates, notices, approvals and orders pertaining to fire control and fire hazards pursuant to Section 105 of this code. The local fire marshal shall issue such permits, certificates, notices, approvals and orders. Permits shall be issued in accordance with Sections 105.1.1 to 105.7.25 inclusive."
